Sustainability of dual education in focus on ongoing activities within the DUALMON project

Sustaining the impacts of the DUALMON project beyond its lifetime is recognized as one of its key goals. With this regard, on Monday, 24th April, the representatives from Academia (Slovenia), Ms. Majda Kralj and Mr. Bojan Dapčević conducted in-person interviews with representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, during their meeting held within the premises of the Faculty of Economics in Montenegro. The purpose of the interview was to better understand the key strategies developed to achieve sustainable project objectives and key resources required, with special attention paid to the ongoing piloting of dual higher education in the HE system of Montenegro, the progress made so far within adjusting the DHE legislation and accreditation standards based on the proposed amendments, and better social inclusion of students with a lower socioeconomic background within the whole process.

This meeting is a part of the project activities aimed at developing a Sustainability plan – a strategic document that aims to explain how the impact of the project will be sustained beyond its lifetime. This document will also list the outcomes that the project consortium considers sustainable and will describe the strategy to ensure their long-lasting use beyond the project’s lifetime. The aim of this document will also be to explain how the results of the DUALMON project will be mainstreamed and multiplied at the national/regional level, with the ultimate goal to ensure dual education becomes an integral part of the higher education system in Montenegro.
