Steering Committee Meeting organized on April, 29th was an opportunity for project team members to analyse the results of piloting DUALMON model and the forthcoming activities that should be conducted. During the meeting, project team members agreed on steps that should be made towards preparation of the report on the sustainability of the project. The following meeting was also occasion to analyse the results of the pilot testing of each of specific dual models, and discuss about the internal project control and monitoring report that will be prepared, as well as about external evaluation of the project piloting that will be made based on the survey of satisfaction of all key stakeholders (students, university and companies). During the meeting, attention was also paid to dissemination of the project results and, on that occasion, the representatives of Uhura Solutions reported on all the activities related to the successful upgrade and maintenance of the project website, as one of the important dissemination channels that significantly contributes to the visibility of the project.
The project team members also discussed about amendments to the law on higher education and creating of draft law on dual education. Within that context, professor Melović informed the consortium that the new Working group for the preparation of the Law on HE was formed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, and that the project consortium will follow closely the work on the new Law on HE. This was highlighted as an important step forward in the process of assuring sustainability of the Dualmon project and dual higher education in Montenegro.
The Steering Committee meeting was also an opportunity for participants to make a comprehensive overview of the project’s various activities and progress made so far. The project team expressed satisfaction with the pilot results, highlighting that many dual students received job offers from their internship employers. This success underscores the project’s positive impact on student employability, and demonstrates the project’s effectiveness in bridging the gap between education and employment, providing dual students with valuable career opportunities.
