The project solutions of the students of the Computers module were successfully presented

Students from module Computer Engineering, study program Electronics Telecommunications and Computer, University of Montenegro, finished pilot of dual education. Selected students had the opportunity, as part of the ERASMUS+ project DUALMON, to spend a month and a half in companies, mastering the final learning outcomes of all five mandatory subjects in the Computer engineering module. In this way, they enhanced the knowledge acquired in the first part of the semester and crowned it with the implementation of specific projects defined in collaboration with professors from the module and mentors from companies. On Monday, June 12, 2023, their successful project solutions were presented.

This activity represents another way in which the Faculty of Electrical Engineering opens up to the business sector and serves as a direct test of the relevance and applicability of the learning outcomes their students acquire in the module. Based on the positive reactions of the attendees, including Minister of Science and Technological Development Prof. Dr. Biljana Šćepanović, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education Maša Stevović, General Director of the Directorate for Higher Education in the Ministry of Education Goran Radević, as well as representatives of project partner companies, we conclude that the students are up to such a challenge and that conditions have been met for formalizing dual education in higher education institutions.
